Together with our partner Müller Martini USA, HÖRAUF presented the BDM Compact 45. It was the first time that this machine was shown in the America's, and therefore the right spot to introduce the Compact on this important market. The BDM Compact is, just like it's bigger sister the Universal, able to run with all different kinds of cover materials. Even on shows! Quite a few visitors came back another day bringing their own material with them. It was impressive to see how the Compact could handle all this. Even more impressive was that those visitors brought only a few cover sheets, so there was no room for start up waste! - We would like to thank our partner Müller Martini for making the show a success for both, and for their efforts in selling the machine on the show to our appreciated customer Thomson Shore. This bookbinder, located in Dexter (Michigan), is a specialist in short and medium runs. Doing things right the first time is their motto, and the Compact 45 will definitely help them confirm their reputation.
